Learn safe setup and make a complete first-round plan.

Use two focused sessions each week plus a short on-course or putting test when practical. A 15-minute version can use the first task only; a 30- or 60-minute session can add target changes and a scored finish. Allow recovery and adapt volume to comfort.

Week 1: Grip, stance and short swings

Two 20-minute sessions using the beginner grip and half-swing lessons. Record five contacts rather than chasing distance.

Begin with a short warm-up, keep a written count, and finish with one attempt per target rather than repeated retries.

Week 2: Putting and chipping

One start-line session and one landing-zone session. Record the number of successful attempts from ten.

Begin with a short warm-up, keep a written count, and finish with one attempt per target rather than repeated retries.

Week 3: Longer clubs and decisions

Introduce a hybrid or driver at comfortable speed. Record contact and choose broad targets.

Begin with a short warm-up, keep a written count, and finish with one attempt per target rather than repeated retries.

Week 4: First short round

Play a short course or nine holes when ready. Record one useful decision and one skill to revisit.

Begin with a short warm-up, keep a written count, and finish with one attempt per target rather than repeated retries.

Measure your progress

Complete the 20-lesson checklist at your own pace; compare clean contacts and short-game tasks week to week.

Lessons for this program

Avoid this mistake

Do not add several new technical changes after a poor session. Compare similar tasks, note conditions and keep the next goal small. If the movement is uncomfortable or progress stalls, a qualified coach can help adapt the plan.

These programs set practice priorities. They do not guarantee a score or a timetable for improvement.
